Cluck Yeah: From Sketch to Snapback

By Ben Koscielniak

If you’ve spent any time on Maui, you know the chickens are pretty much everywhere. They’re part of everyday life here, and seeing so many of them is what got me drawing this guy. I knew it was something locals and tourists could both appreciate.

Cluck Yeah has been our top-selling sticker, and now the hats just showed up. I took some photos so you can see the details, along with my sketch and the finished artwork below.

From the sketchbook

Here’s my pen sketch and the finished artwork.

The hats are here

The hat has the rooster on a woven patch up front, with a sand color and white rope across the brim.

A closer look

It’s a lightweight, water-resistant Taslan five-panel with an adjustable snapback. Here’s the back and inside too, so you can see the Aloha Crew embroidery, red details, taping and labels.
